Definition
汉语中疑问词(如“谁”、“什么”、“哪里”、“怎么”、“为什么”等)在句子中的位置规律。
The regular placement of interrogative words (question words like "who", "what", "where", "how", "why", etc.) within a Mandarin Chinese sentence.
Usage
在汉语中,疑问词的放置通常遵循一个基本原则:疑问词会保持在它们所替代的、在陈述句中本应出现的位置。例如,如果疑问词问的是主语,它就放在主语的位置;如果问的是动词的宾语,它就放在动词后;如果问的是地点或方式,它就放在相应的状语位置。这种“原位疑问”的特点是汉语疑问句结构的一大特色,与英语等语言中疑问词常提前到句首的习惯不同。
In Mandarin Chinese, the placement of question words generally follows a fundamental principle: the question word remains in the position where the information it is asking about would appear in a declarative sentence. For example, if the question word asks about the subject, it stays in the subject position; if it asks about the object of a verb, it stays after the verb; if it asks about a location or manner, it stays in the corresponding adverbial position. This characteristic of "in-situ questioning" is a major feature of Mandarin interrogative sentence structure, differing from languages like English where question words often move to the beginning of the sentence.
